AviatorEDU

Text Message Terms

AviatorEDU text messages, run by Cardon Aviation LLC

What the program is

AviatorEDU can text you copies of messages from inside the course: friend requests, cheers and nudges from pilots you added as friends, messages and assignment reminders from a flight school you joined, and study reminders. It is optional and off until you turn it on. No more than a few texts a day; message frequency varies.

How you sign up

Texts are opt-in only. Signed-in pilots open Friends & profile in AviatorEDU, find Messages from friends, check “Text me my daily study reminder” (one a day at the hour they pick, skipped on days they already studied) and/or “Also text me these messages (a few a day at most)”, and enter their mobile number. Right under the checkbox the page says: “By turning on texts you agree to receive them at this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop.” Nobody is texted who did not do this.

Stopping and help

Costs

AviatorEDU does not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile number and text-message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Texts are sent through our text provider, Twilio. See the Privacy Policy for everything else.
